The children at Lynnwood Ridge Primary are constantly being made aware of the importance of taking care of the environment. The school has an ongoing paper recycling project which incolves collecting about 2 tons of paper a week, which is collected by Mondi. A visit from a Miss Earth helped to reinforce this. The good news for those who have been following “The Battle of the Bottlestore” is that the huge pile of litter outside Ultra Liquors in Meyerspark has disappeared and the area manager has assured us that he will be keeping an eye on what the staff are up to.
